I really try to prioritise my environment when looking for inspiration. It’s such an honour to be able to live in Aotearoa and explore our unique and beautiful country. Nature is often the best reference for me when looking for something real. Since making more of an effort to take in my surroundings, I’ve seen my work develop a more honest approach, focusing less on the details and instead looking at the intention.
