With this third approach, I wanted to step away from the dining arrangement and closer to the lounging setup. The Clerici Chair by Konstantin Grcic definitely inspired a couple of elements of this design seen in the wooden side upright panels toward the back end of the chair and the overall boxiness and simplicity. In this attempt I continued to refine my approach, making the decision to hide more of the fixings, being very intentional with the exact placement and symmetry of each screw and how that affected the overall appearance.
